School Mission: A commitment to provide life-long learning to all students, parents, and community. We will create an environment that is open and nurturing, where the things that matter are the dignity and integrity of all human beings.

The education of our children is of vital importance to the residents of our community. We have a fully accredited school, offer the required regular curriculum, plus a full range of extra-curricular activities. We are especially proud of the technology we utilize. We offer college credit courses through RODENT (Rural Development Technology Network). Our student to computer ratio is 4:1 - one of the best in the state. We maintain internet connections, allowing students global research access.

Students at the Midland School are small in number but strong with dedication, honesty, and an energetic work ethic. The enrollment is currently at 117 with 35 students in grades K-6 and 70 in grades 7-12.

Mr. Denise Joy is the CEO. Debbie Trap is the Business Manager. There are currently three elementary teachers, six high school teachers, as well as Title I, Special Ed, Music, School Lunch and Custodial staff.
